Muizz Merchant, DMD

Dr. Merchant moved to the Chicagoland area from Mumbai, India when he was 10 years old. He went to Downers Grove South High School and Benedictine University in Lisle, IL for his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences/Psychology. He graduated from Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Before dental school, Dr. Merchant spent his free time coaching middle school aged boys' basketball for many years. He uses his coach mentality to educate and support his patients with proper dental hygiene habits and overall oral health. He takes time to make his patient’s feel comfortable and to build trust with his patients. Dr. Merchant is also always making an effort to keep up with all the new dental research and techniques. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Illinois State Dental Society.
During his free time, Dr. Merchant loves playing and watching sports, hiking, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends.
